"Early Historic Port Cities" workshop

Kerala, Ernakulan district, Pattanam Archaeological Site at North Paravur, from 23rd to 27th November

The 3rd international workshop on "Early Historic Port Cities: Architectural Features, Construction Techniques and Conservation with special reference to Pattanam" will be held at Pattanam Archaeological Site, from 23rd to 27th November.

The workshop is organized by the Kerala Council for Historical Research in collaboration with the British Museum and funded by the British Council.

Scholars from different parts of the world are invited to discuss the technological and analytical aspects of the architectural features of the early historic port cities. Indeed, the aim of this edition is to synthesize ideas and link data in order to evolve theories about the early historic port sites in antiquity.
