MEDINA

Mediterranean network for the valorization and fruition of inscriptions preserved in museums project

The main objective of MEDINA is to promote, through innovative means, the knowledge and dissemination of Phoenician and Nabataean inscriptions and artefacts preserved in the Beirut National Museum and in the Museum of Jordanian Heritage at Yarmouk University.

CSAI

Corpus of South Arabian Inscriptions

CSAI was set up in 2001 to publish the entire South Arabian epigraphic corpus in electronic form. The idea behind the project is to broaden the knowledge of the history and language of ancient south Arabian kingdoms through information and communication technologies.

CASIS

Cataloguing and Fruition of South Arabian Inscriptions through an Informatic Support

CASIS is part of the Executive Programme of Scientific and Technological Cooperation between Italy and Yemen of the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs for the years 2006-2009 and is funded by the Ministry for University and Research. The project was created with the aim of spreading knowledge and study of the ancient Yemen civilization and culture though the information technology.

MENCAWAR

Mediterranean Network for Cataloguing and Web Fruition of Ancient Artworks and Inscriptions

MENCAWAR is a two-year project funded by the European Community within the Sixth Framework Programme. The project objective is to create a common database of South Arabian, Nabataean and Phoenician inscriptions, accessible on line.
