ST1 and the Harappan world

Indus-related pottery has been found at the Bronze Age Tower of Salut.
Due to the large quantities of such pottery, a petrographic and chemical study of a sample was began. The study is being conducted in collaboration with Prof. Mark Kenoyer (University of Wisconsin-Madison) and Dr. Dennys Frenez (Unversity of Bologna).
The sample includes a selection of both Indus-related and local specimens for comparison.
Furthermore a stone stamp seal an Harappan iconography and inscription has been discovered.
A study of the manufacturing technique of this seal will be soon carried out, as well as that of three carnelian beads for which sourcing will also be attempted.
